The Cranberry Bog Preserve in Riverhead is a 165-acre park of whats left of an abandoned cranberry-growing operation. Nature trails allow for sights of the Little Peconic River as well as different bird species and other wildlife.
This month was the grand opening of a new footbridge at the preserve.
