Riverhead Town will hold a bow hunting lottery on Thursday, Sept. 21, at 6 p.m. at Town Hall, according to a press release.
This year’s bow hunting season runs between Oct. 2 and Dec. 4.
The lottery is limited to people who live or own property in Riverhead Town. Participants must show proper identification and a hunting license at the lottery. Those interested must be in attendance in order to get a hunting date and location, the town said in a release.
